Hello! And welcome to my corner of the world. Here you will find what I am passionate about, including all things food, health, and natural living. 

After having my first child and being diagnosed with a number of autoimmune diseases, I realized that it was time for me to adopt a healthier lifestyle—one that would allow me to feel good and be the best version of myself for my family. It made such a huge difference in my health that I haven’t looked back. And now I want to share what I learn with you.

My search to improve my wellbeing and the lives of my family led me to complete my B.S. in Exercise and Wellness at Brigham Young University. My degree gave me a wealth of knowledge, access to phenomenal resources, and the perfect base to begin studying health and nutrition on my own.  I love diving into research and looking at scientific developments from every possible angle. But most of all I love finding fun and delicious ways to apply what I learn into everyday life. 

My personal experiences and education have helped me find the 5 areas I feel are most important to focus on when trying to improve one’s health and wellbeing: 

  1. Eating Real Food—food that is as close to its natural state as possible and hasn’t been exposed to chemicals or unhealthy processing methods.
  2. Using more natural products in my home for cleaning, personal care, and medicinal care in order to eliminate my exposure to toxins
  3. Finding effective ways to relieve stress
  4. Moving more through exercise and other activities
  5. Getting better quality sleep

Years into my personal journey, I am still figuring out new ways to improve my life through nutrition, movement, and living a more natural lifestyle. The changes I have made up to this point haven’t all been easy. Some are second nature to me now and some are still very hard. But I believe in moving forward and thriving regardless of your circumstances.
